Our safety checks

EA Sports FC 26 passes all 7 safety checks. We apply the same strict rules to every app and game.

  1. Could we confirm every fact?

    Yes

Every fact below links to its source. Rule 1

  2. Is your child old enough for the official ratings?

    Yes

Rated 3+ by PEGI (UK & Europe). Our minimum age is 3. Rule 2

  3. Can you stop strangers contacting your child?

    Yes

EA child accounts have no online play or social features. Teen accounts can only chat and play with friends, and turning off communication in your console's parental controls also turns it off in the game. Rule 3Source

  4. Is every risk under control once settings are on?

    Yes

No risk stays high once every control is on. Rule 4

  5. Is its child-safety record clear?

    Yes

We searched for regulator, government and court action over child safety against EA in October 2026 and found none. Court cases about its card packs have been about gambling law, not child safety. Rule 5

  6. Can you stop all spending?

    Yes

Teen accounts start with spending at zero, set by a parent. Playtime controls in the game can also cap how many card packs are opened. Rule 6Source

  7. Is everything checked before children see it?

    Yes

Everything in the game is made by EA, and players can’t publish their own content. ESRB flags player interaction and random paid items, but no player-made content. Rule 7Source

Rating boards judge the content, not what other players say or do online. We never go below the highest.
